Transcranial Brain Stimulation in Cognitive Neuroscience Workshop

The event will be organized as in presence workshop.

The workshop will focus on the relevant elements that we need to consider to have less variable and more repeatable results in this area of research. We aim to provide an opportunity to pursue focused and critical discussions of current empirical evidence and theoretical issues concerning the variability of result in transcranial brain stimulation research in the fields of cognitive neuroscience and cognitive neurorehabilitation.

The workshop will be organized in four main sessions. During the first day, we will start off with covering general aspects in a wider context (morning session), followed by discussions of transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) in particular, including an open discussion on the current multi-centre tACS-force initiative (afternoon session).

The second day will focus on using transcranial brain stimulation in combination with other tools to increase knowledge and effectiveness (morning session) and on the role of individual or methodological differences for enhancement and rehabilitation in the clinical context (afternoon session).

The workshop will feature invited speakers and Poster Presentations.

Invited Speakers

All speakers will be invited and there will be no parallel sessions. The workshop will be organized around a debate among speakers and discussions after each session with dedicated discussants.
