Title

The FAIR principles - Rethinking data management in a open-science environment

Abstract

Scientific data management can be thought as a merely practical task, including operations such as properly naming the files, arranging them in specific directories and combining relevant meta-information. However, if you consider your data acquisitions as part of a broader environment, you may think back to data management as a more complex task, following specific principles and answering to scientific questions.
