Short presentations

We scheduled one time slot during the workshop where students shall discuss their ongoing project works submitted by PhDs and researchers.
Interested students are invited to send their abstract regarding their speech to franco.fraccaroli [at] unitn.it (subject: COHP%202016%3A%20abstract)  and lorenzo.avanzi [at] unitn.it (subject: COHP%202016%3A%20abstract) by 1 April. A selection committee (Members: Fritz, Avanzi, Balducci, Fraccaroli) will examine and evaluate the submitted abstracts - should we receive more abstracts than those actually manageable. The main selection criterion will be the consistency of the abstract with the topic of the day.

Instructions for abstract submission

The abstract will be drafted in English, in about 150 words. Submissions for consideration may be in any form and it shall contain information on the research project (objectives, method) and already achieved outputs, if any. The candidate shall indicate the progress report of the project (concept stage; implementation stage; data analysis; etc.).
The abstract shall be aimed at receiving remarks and suggestions by experts on the topic. Abstract shall NOT DEAL with already accomplished research projects and published results. They shall refer to ongoing projects.
Questions to the experts are welcome on the topics regarding the research hypothesis, the planning of the research, the interpretation of results, and the data analysis strategy. The oral presentation will be in English.
