The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Artificial Intelligence

With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution and the emergence of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, robotics and automation in human life, a huge transformation will occur in industries and societies around the world.

On the one hand, this new industrial revolution will improve our lives and societies, and on the other hand, it has the potential to create major changes in our lifestyles and social norms. The way we work, the way we live, and the way we interact with the world are expected to change at a dramatic pace. Adapting to these emerging technologies seems to be one of the requirements of our lives as humans and organizations. If industries and organizations cannot adapt to the new conditions, they will be forced to exit the economic cycle by losing their competitive advantage. Therefore, it is necessary for humanity to play an active role in the management of this new industrial revolution, not a reactive role.

The purpose of this study is to introduce this emerging technology; explaining the history of industrial revolutions, the era of decline and prosperity of artificial intelligence, types of artificial intelligence, its advantages and disadvantages are part of this research.
