Abstract:
"Shape theorems have a long history starting from the work of Richardson in 1973. We will discuss asymptotic behavior of continuous-time continuous-space birth processes. A general shape theorem will be formulated. The speed of propagation for the truncated free branching birth rate will be given."

The talk is based on joint research with Luca Di Persio, Tyll Krüger, Mykola Lebid and Tomasz Ożański.
