An overview about DLP on the Pell hyperbola and Practical Anonymous Credentials
Abstract
The group structure of Pell hyperbolas has a wide range of applications in cryptography, particularly in PKE schemes that rely on the DLP, such as ElGamal's one. In the first part of the talk, we will exhibit a generalization of the group structure on Pell hyperbolas providing a parameterization using both an algebraic approach and a geometrical interpretation. In the second part of the talk, we will examine the use of Practical Anonymous Credentials from lattices within the context of QUBIP, a project in the set of transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography conducted with LINKS.
