Shape Optimization and Isoperimetric and Functional Inequalities

The school will be held in the conference hall of the Bellavista Relax Hotel in Levico Terme (Trento).
Participants will be lodged in the same hotel.
Description
The main purpose of the workshop is to bring together specialists working on various topics involving geometric inequalities, isoperimetric and functional inequalities, partial differential equations on variable domains, with particular attention to the dependence of the solutions of the state equations (generally partial differential equations) on the geometry of their domain of definition. Precisely, we will involve specialists on the following topics:
- shape optimization problems
- isoperimetric and functional inequalities
- free boundary problems
- spectral optimization problems
- convex geometric tools and geometric inequalities
- free boundary regularity of optimal shapes
- numerical aspects of singular shapes
- geometric flows and PDE's

Accommodation
The accommodation fees are covered by the organizers for the invited speakers only. The other registered participants should pay for their accommodation from their own grants.
The workshop will be held in Belavista Relax Hotel. A limited number of rooms will be available at a negotiated price. The price for a full board accommodation (hotel and meals) ranges approximately between 70 Euros (in a shared double room) to 95 Euros (in a single occupied, double room).
