Abstract:
I will discuss long range parity order in 1D Mott-Insulators, which has been inferred from single-site resolution images of cold atoms in optical lattices. In two dimensions, parity order is conected via a duality transformation to a Wilson-Loop in a dynamical gauge theory.
In the second part of the talk, I will present a diagrammatic approach to the thermodynamics and momentum distribution of strongly interacting Bose gases which includes three-particle correlations and the related Efimov effect exactly. The results provide a reasonable account of the measured momentum distribution of a unitary Bose gas in the moderately degenerate limit
