Controlling flows on networks via time-varying Riemann Solvers
Abstract:
We consider the Cauchy problem for a conservation law on networks with generic Riemann Solvers at nodes depending on parameters. Riemann Solvers can be seen as control functions, moreover parameters can vary in time. Using estimates on the total variation of the fluxes, via the front-wave tracking method, a solution to the Cauchy problem with bounded variation initial datum is found.
