Seminar on the special status of the Åland Islands Example

The Seminar aims at providing detailed information and exchanging views and opinions on the special status of the Åland Islands within the constitutional order of Finland and of the European Union. Legal foundations as well as consequences of such special status of the Åland Islands Example within the EU will be analysed in order to build hypothesis of establishing an EU special status of Regions enjoying a special status within the Italian constitutional system (Valle d’Aosta/Vallée d’Aoste, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sardegna).
