Professor of Political Theory at the London School of Economics, Lea Ypi is internationally acknowledged as a leading voice in normative political theory and critical theory, thanks to her book "Global Justice and Avant-Garde Political Agency" (Oxford, 2012; Italian translation Bari, 2016). Her research on Kant’s political thought is collected in "The Architectonic of Reason: Purposiveness and Systematic Unity in Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason" (Oxford, 2021). She is the author of the bestseller “Free: Coming of Age at the End of History” (London 2021, Italian translation Milano, 2022), a fascinating memoir of life amid the collapse of communism.
