Hartmut Esser - Emeritus professor of the University of Mannheim, Germany
Hartmut Esser is Professor Emeritus of Sociology and Philosophy of Science at the University of Mannheim and Research Fellow of IZA. His research interests include sociological theory, methodology of the social sciences, theories of action, migration, integration and ethnic conflicts, marital relations, and educational systems and educational inequality. He (co-)authored over 180 papers, and was (co-)author or editor of over 16 books.
