Ethnic Rent Penalties in the German Housing Market

Tobias Roth received his doctoral degree from the University of Mannheim in 2014. Currently, he is a senior researcher at the GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, where he is responsible for providing services on the German Microcensus to the scientific community. Current research interests comprise social and ethnic inequalities in education, school-to-work transition, social capital and the housing market. His work has been published in journals such as European Sociological Review, Social Networks, Research in Social Stratification and Mobility, and Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
