Cross-Border Interdisciplinary Workshops
Selected students from the three Universities – Bolzano/Bozen, Innsbruck and Trento -, will have the occasion to present and discuss the results of their final thesis or their seminar papers on issues related to EU integration with their peers and their supervisors as volunteers in a cross-border and inter-disciplinary workshop.
The first workshop will be held in Trento on 23-24 November 2016, the second in Innsbruck on 11-12 May 2017.
Objectives
The workshops shall bring together and connect students and teachers from the three Universities in the Euroregion offering a unique opportunity for discussing topics related to European integration among peers and supervisors from different Universities and with different disciplinary background; the regional and subnational dimension as well as civil society issues will be particularly important.
The discussion in the workshops shall broaden the views of participants who have already intensively worked on their final thesis or on their seminar papers and also allow for networking.
Method
The selected students shall present their research to peers and supervisors, thus receiving additional critical input for their papers or their presentations in the final examination.
The workshop format will favour comments and discussion by fellow students and teachers.
The working language is English.
