Abstract
The Green Deal announced in December 2019 foresees an ambitious goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. This comprehensive mainstreaming exercise would require a reassessment of key elements across sectors of economy, i.a. energy, industry, mobility and finance. With generous EU funding becoming available, the delivery of the Green Deal requires well-elaborated plans to ensure just transition and an ambitious external dimension. This lecture will discuss the key elements of the Green Deal and provide the assessment of available paths and their challenges.
