PhD position in Laboratory astrophysics (H2020-MCFA-ITN AstroChemical Origin)

One PhD position in the Doctoral School of Physics at the University of Trento is available  within the Astro-Chemical Origins (ACO) project, a European Training Network (ETN) funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action.

PhD topic
Laboratory experiments and theoretical computations on gas-phase ion-neutral reactions.

Mobility
The PhD student will spend 6 months at University of Perugia (Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Nadia Balucani.

Type of contract/salary
Successful applicants will be offered a 36-month employee contract and receive a salary for ESRs set out by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) regulations. The salary includes a living allowance, a mobility allowance and, if appropriate, a family allowance.

Eligibility criteria
The position is open to EU and non-EU students. To be eligible for the position in Trento (ESR12) the candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies,  etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.
