"The discovery was made by a group of researchers monitoring for six weeks the smartphones from sixty persons. The information that was deemed as the most sensitive? The one related to geolocation. The study was led by Telefonica, in collaboration with the Fondazione Bruno Kessler and the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento".
