When: at 9pm

Three meetings for members of the university community and everyone wishing to attend to encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle by focusing on:

  • mental training
  • physical exercise
  • a balanced diet

The event will end with a special show cooking where we will learn how to cook in a healthy way.

# 1 - Mental training

At this round table we will talk about mental training, about how to manage problematic emotions and how to maintain mental health from a scientific perspective that includes, in particular, a psychological and neuroscientific approach.

Guest speakers:

  • Nicola De Pisapia

Assistant Professor in Psychobiology and Physiological Psychology at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Trento, where he teaches cognitive ergonomics and artificial neural networks. His research cuts across neurosciences, psychology, philosophy and technology, and is focused on developing the potential of the human mind and its well-being.

  • Alessandro Grecucci

Associate Professor of Affective Neuroscience at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Trento, where he is the head of the Clinical and Affective Neuroscience Lab (CLI.A.N), and teaches Affective Neuroscience and Neurotechnology. His research interests lie in the study of the brain basis of emotions and of psychological disorders.

  • Michela Vignoli

Assistant Professor of Occupational and Organizational Psychology at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Trento, where she coordinates the WE.BE.WO. Lab (well-being at work Lab) and teaches psychology of work and psychology of training and orientation. Her research interests are mainly focused on issues related to the psychological well-being of workers.

The meetings will be hosted by Alessandra Montresor, Head of the Communication and External Relations Department of the University of Trento.
