Boosting Gender Equality at C3A
Join us for an engaging workshop focused on "Boosting Gender Equality at C3A," designed to shed light on the existing gender disparities within the fields of agriculture, environmental studies, and food science. Our goal is to foster awareness and introduce proactive measures aimed at achieving a more balanced representation of genders among students enrolled in our degree programs.
During this event, participants will delve into an hour of insightful discussions, where we will examine gender balance data within the scientific domains of our Center on both a national and international scale. Additionally, we will showcase successful initiatives implemented elsewhere to address and rectify gender imbalances in STEM fields.
Distinguished speakers at the workshop include Professor Barbara Poggio, Vice-Rector for Equity and Diversity Policies, along with Dr. Monia Anzivino, Dr. Andrea Flecking, and Professor Roberto Rosà, the Center's Delegate for Equity and Diversity Policies. Following these enlightening talks, attendees will actively engage in proposing and crafting tangible strategies that can be implemented within our institution to drive gender balance among students across all academic levels, including bachelor, master, and PhD programs.
