Horizon Europe Week: 12-16 July 2021

The programme of the Horizon Europe Week, that will take place online from 12 to 16 July 2021, is now available.

The event is organized in 24 sessions over the five days. Each session will focus on one Horizon Europe topic and the relevant calls, or on aspects that cut across different disciplines such as ethics, open science, the gender dimension, regulations.

Experts from APRE, the Agency for the Promotion of European Research, officials of the European Commission and national delegates of the Horizon Europe Programme Committee will participate as guest speakers. 

The event is designed for all public and private stakeholders who are positioned along the research and innovation value chain and whose activity covers on one or more of the topics of the Framework Program:

  • Researchers from Universities and Research Centers
  • Teachers
  • Business people and startuppers
  • Organizations
  • Financial backers
  • Policy makers and public representatives 
  • Scientific communicators
  • Citizens 

The 11 sessions will focus on open calls involving: the European Research Council (ERC); Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA); Research Infrastructures (RI); Health; Culture, creativity and inclusive society; Civil Security for Society; Digital, Industry and Space; Climate, Energy and Mobility; Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment; Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area (ERA); Euratom.

The 13 cross-sector sessions instead address aspects such as: the strategic plan, partnerships, missions, participation and assessment rules, the proposal template, Open Science, the gender dimension, ethics, and others.

The Horizon Europe Week is organized by the Agency for the Promotion of European Research - APRE, in agreement with the Ministry of University and Research .
