Jean Monnet call for proposals now open

Academic staff are invited to submit proposals within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Actions by 1 March 2022 (at 5.00 pm).

Academic staff are invited to participate in the online information session that will take place on Friday 17 December from 10.00 to 11.00am. Click here to register. Once you have registered you will receive an email with your credentials to access the online meeting.

Universities can receive financial support from Jean Monnet Actions for:

Modules:
a short teaching programme or course, including specialized courses and summer schools, in the field of European Union studies. Other lecturers and experts can be involved in addition to the scientific coordinator up to the maximum number of teaching hours.
Duration: 3 years, 40 hours/year of teaching (in the form of seminars, lectures, tutorials both in-person and online). Maximum grant: 30,000 euro (lump sum).
 
Chairs:
teaching posts with a specialisation in European Union studies practiced by university professors (or senior lecturers) Duration: 3 years, for 90 teaching hours per year (in the form of seminars, lectures, tutorials both in-person and online), supervised by a scientific coordinator. Other members of the team can provide additional teaching hours for the strengthening and dissemination of topics related to the Chair. Maximum grant: 50,000 euro (lump sum).
 
Centres of Excellence (only 1 per university; this opportunity is already underway until 2023):
institutions that organize and coordinate European studies, including at transnational level. 
Duration: 3 years. Maximum grant: 100,000 euro (lump sum). 

"Teacher training" for the training and continuing education of teachers in schools and vocational training institutes (VET) to create structured and innovative training proposals for the teaching of European Union studies among the youngest.
Duration: 3 years. Maximum grant: 300,000 euro (lump sum).

Networks in Higher Education 
For the creation of thematic networks of at least 12 universities. The Network on internal EU issues shall address the following thematic: ”Future of Europe”. The Network on foreign policy issues shall address the following thematic: “Europe in the world”.
Maximum funding 1,000,000-1,200,000 euro depending on the type of network.

The main thematic areas of the above actions can come from any disciplinary area.
