New AICS-Partnership for Knowledge project – platform 3 Sustainable energy, Environment and Industrial innovation, first online meeting for selected students.

The first online meeting of the AICS – PfK project was held on April 1st 2020, Coordinated by the Politecnico di Milano, this event will be part of a series, where every month the platform will allow participants and colleagues to socialise and share their experience, cultural and social background, as well as their findings in the specific field of interest.

The next appointment is set on May 8th Soon to be announced a new online platform and a website to further strengthen the online participation in this time of social distancing, a multicultural place where students can share their experiences and enrich their background.

Funded for the 2019-2022 period, the project offers a total of 99 MA scholarships and PhD fellowships in different thematic domains organised in 4 thematic platforms. This initiative by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) is aimed at providing opportunities to researchers, public administration officers, and young leaders committed to develop their professional and academic skills, strengthen their capacities, widen their networks, to experience of the Italian culture in order to make a difference at home.

In this context, UniTrento hosts 3 scholarship holders 2 MA students and 1 PhD fellow, from Albania, Tunisia and Mozambique, all part of the Platform 3 on Sustainable energy, Environment and Industrial innovation. Together with the Politecnico di Milano, the University of Trento, the Politecnico di Torino, the University of Bologna, the University of Napoli “Federico II”, the University of Padova and the University of Venezia are partners in the platform. The University of Milano, the University of Reggio Calabria, the University of Roma “Sapienza” and the University of Bergamo also support this platform as associated partners.
